Constantly changing the house

I’m sure I can’t be the only one out there that is constantly changing and updating little parts of their home. Right?  Today was no exception. Never mind that I just recently finished the dining room and made it pretty. I had an idea for where to put the mirror that used to be over my fireplace and decided to go with it.

I also moved a lamp from the front living room to this room because the orange in it matched the orange in the wings of one of the pieces of art and the orange in my very old ashtray that I never use. The mirror seems to open up the room a bit more and it fills in that spot of the wall nicely. Since I was moving things around… I moved my desk in to the dining room to use as a table until we can fix the rustoleum whiteboard paint monstrosity that is my old dining table.

The chairs aren’t new I just removed their slipcovers so I could wash them. Let me tell ya, light colored dining chairs with two small boys? Dumbest furniture purchase I have ever ever made. omg. They were stained within a day or two and I was sad So they’re slipcovered for now since it doesn’t show the stains as badly. I will never buy cloth dining room chairs while I still have kids in the house though. ever
